Does it actually work?
Honestly, for the price, it does what it says. Pour it in the drum, run a hot empty cycle, and the machine comes out smelling clean rather than damp and sad. The linen scent is light, nothing overpowering, which is a relief. It is not going to shift serious mould that's already embedded in the seal - you'd need a proper scrub for that. But as a maintenance product used regularly, it is spot on.
The Subscribe & Save price brings it down to around £1.34, which is genuinely hard to argue with. Comparable products from Calgon or Finish cost three or four times as much per use.
Who this is actually for
If you already have a routine and just need something cheap and cheerful to keep things ticking over, this is a no-brainer. If your machine is already in a bad way, sort the visible grime first, then use this to maintain it going forward.
Not glamorous. Not exciting. But proper good value for what it is.
