What You're Actually Getting
These are not the classic pool slides. The Adilette Noshower is a slightly chunkier, more cushioned version, meant to be worn out of the house without shame. The Cloud White colourway looks clean enough straight out of the box, though I'd give it about three weeks before it starts looking a bit grim if you're wearing them to the corner shop daily.
The footbed is soft, properly soft. Slipping them on after a long day on your feet is a genuine pleasure. Not life-changing, but that kind of small relief you forget to appreciate until you have it.
Who This Is Actually For
If you want something to wear around the house, pop to the bins, or shuffle to a mate's place in the summer, these are spot on. Students will love them. Anyone who already lives in slides half the year will get it immediately.
Not for you if you want serious arch support. There's practically none. And white slides require a level of upkeep that, honestly, not everyone's up for.
The Tenner Question
At £10 with no listed original price, this isn't technically a discount deal. But £10 for Adidas slides is just... a fair price. You're not getting robbed. The build quality is decent for what they are, the branding is subtle enough, and they'll last a reasonable amount of time if you're not dragging them through mud.
Not the bargain of the century, but not a bad shout either.
